Wolf Hunts

Idaho wolf hunts are one of the most exciting guided predator hunts available in the lower 48 states.

There is no sound in the wild that will literally raise the hair on the back of your neck like a pack of wolves howling back at you while coming to your calls.

Without question, Grey Wolves are one of the most cunning, elusive game animals and offer a hunting experience like no other.

When hunting wolves, we use a combination of calling techniques including howling, distress, and mating calls. Another successful method when located is hunting fresh kills.

Central Idaho has a solid population of wolves and is one of the few states you can buy multiple wolf tags that are sold over the counter.

Wolves in our area vary in color, most are your typical grey, but we do have a good number of the prized black ones and on rare occasions even white.

Wolves have a large home range and travel very large areas. Because of this, we want to remain very mobile and are constantly on the move. Patience and determination are key factor when trying to locate wolves.

Long range rifles with high powered optics are not mandatory, but shots at wolves are often at longer distances. Practicing and becoming comfortable with longer shots in hunting positions will greatly increase your chances of harvesting a wolf.

After your wolf is harvested, your guide will skin and prepare the hide for your taxidermist. If you don't already have a good taxidermist that is familiar with mounting wolves, there are several in our area and we would be happy to recommend one.
