We offer high success guided Mountain Lion (also called Cougar) hunts in central Idaho.
Idaho is without question one of the premier hunting destinations with more mountain lion in Boone and Crockett, Pope and Young, and Safari Club International than any other state. This area of central Idaho that we hunt has consistently produced excellent quality trophies.
Mountain lions are extremely elusive animals seldom seen in the wild. With the use of a well-trained pack of hunting hounds you are able to harvest this magnificent western trophy. When hunting free range, nothing is guaranteed, but we have run a 100% success on good mature animals for the past several years.

We use quality, well maintained 4-wheel drive vehicles, snowmobiles, radios for communication, and the latest satellite dog tracking equipment. This allows us to make the most of your time while hunting with us.
Winter mountain lion hunts offer a great opportunity in the off season for big game hunting. Idaho has a liberal mountain lion season and we hunt from the first of December until the end of March. Your hunt will be scheduled for specific dates, but because the winter months have varying weather and hunting conditions, we ask that you be somewhat flexible. This will ensure that you will have the best chance to harvest a trophy mountain lion.
Mountain lions can be hunted with the weapon of your choice: Rifle, Bow, Muzzleloader, or Hand Gun.
Hunting license and tags are unlimited and sold over the counter. These are guaranteed tags that we can assist you in purchasing.
Mountain lion hunts are based out of the Garden Valley, Idaho area and are a full-service hunt with no hidden cost or trophy fees. Included in the cost of the hunt are meals, lodging in one of our local motels, transportation including pickup and return to the Boise, Idaho airport, guide fees, and trophy care. Not included in the hunt cost are hunting license, tag, 6% Idaho sales tax, and gratuities.

A 40% deposit is required to confirm your hunt and dates. All deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to another hunter for the same dates. Personal check, cashier's check, money order, and all major credit cards are accepted. After booking you will receive a detailed signed service agreement and a list of what to bring. The hunt balance is due 30 days before your hunt begins. In addition to the base price, Idaho also requires a 6% sales tax. Gratuities are not mandatory however; it is customary to tip your guide if you feel they did a good job for you.
Clients are responsible for letting the Outfitter know of any special medical or dietary needs prior to booking.
